John

Elias Abboud

John, the son of Zebedee, was the younger brother of James and probably the youngest of Jesus’ disciples. He was the other half of “THE SONS OF THUNDER” and could be counted on to exhibit youthful exuberance and enthusiasm in his devotion to Jesus. He always wanted to be first and up front and in the know about everything that was Jesus.

John’s insights into the person of Jesus are unique and testify to his very close relationship to the Savior. John outlived all his contemporaries and died of natural causes in Ephesus, Turkey. He will always be remembered for preaching a gospel of love.

John was a very prolific writer, penning the Gospel of John, the epistles 1st 2nd 3rd John, and the book of Revelations
